When the world changes once again, God remains the same.
When the world looks you over, God knows your name.
When the world counts it a failure, God counts it a success.
When the world calls you foolish, God calls you blessed.
When the world pushes you down, God builds you up with love.
When the world fills you with fear, God lifts your eyes above.
His thoughts are not our thoughts and his ways are higher too,
But his plans are good, his words give life, and his promises always hold true.
